Our History​

We offer the convenience of having one source for rights from several companies. Riggins Rights manages the entire rights process for our clients.  We promote our clients titles for licensing opportunities through various media methods and tradeshow representation. We confirm rights availability, order review copies, negotiate and issue licenses, and collect royalties on behalf of our clients. 

Due to our industry experience, we also understand the uniqueness of each country's publishing market.  Our goal is to build long-term relationships with you and help you find products that fit your market and publishing program.

Our parent company,  Riggins International Rights Services, opened in July 2003 to help publishers develop and manage their propriety rights program. 

Through the years we have grown to represent a diverse range of clients with varied theological thought and product categories.

The Riggins Rights Management team has decades of experience with international rights, specialized in the inspirational publishing community.    

Our Team

Cindy Riggins - President and Founder

Cindy has 26 years of experience in international rights.  As International Licensing Director for Thomas Nelson for 10 years, she managed thousands of licenses for multiple company imprints.   During her tenure, the rights program grew from a minuscule financial source to a department with substantial profitability.  Cindy has been a speaker at industry conferences and written articles pertaining to rights management.   Prior to the publishing industry, Cindy worked in marketing for an AT&T subsidiary as well held as positions in sales, business, and human resource management.   Cindy is responsible for overall company management, client relations, and marketing.  She also handles English rights outside North America.
Catherine Whitehead - Vice President
Prior to joining the publishing industry, Catherine’s background was in banking and human resource management.  Catherine transferred her business skills and love of books to the inspirational publishing industry twelve years ago.  Through the years she has managed rights for all territories around the globe and contract management.   Currently, Catherine oversees our contracts department and assists with client relations.
Jade Doyel - Rights Director, Asia and Middle East Languages
Jade has fifteen years of publishing experience, primarily in copyrights and international sub-licensing.  Jade’s work history in sub-rights includes two years at a respected Korean publishing house, as well as eight years at Tyndale House.  He has lived overseas in three countries:  China, Korea, and Spain.   He also has publishing operations, copyright and trademark experience.    Among his educational credentials is a Master of Science Degree, Intellectual Property Law at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL He has also studied international relations and foreign languages, achieving Korean and Spanish certificates.  Jade is responsible for all Asian and Middle Eastern language rights management.
Jennifer Myers  - Rights Director, English and Bible Rights

Jennifer has over twenty years of experience in the inspirational publishing industry. Prior to joining Mosaic, Jennifer was a Senior Manager of Contracts and Royalties at Harper Collins Christian Publishers (formerly Zondervan Publishing). During her tenure at Zondervan, she also spent thirteen years in the International Rights & Permissions department.  Jennifer manages all Bible licensing and permissions for the NRSV, RSV, and RSV-CE scripture, as well as English subsidiary rights in the US.  

Nadiyka Gerbish  - Rights Manager, European and Nordic Languages

Nadiyka has been working in publishing for more than a decade – first as a journalist and a book reviewer, and later as an editor-in-chief of a Christian publishing house, and a translator of numerous high-profile titles (English to Ukrainian) such as Steve Jobs, by Walter Isaacson; Psychology & Christianity: Five Views, ed. by Eric L. Johnson; and others.   Today she is a bestselling and award-winning Ukrainian author of children’s books, inspirational short stories, and Christian non-fiction.  Nadiyka has an MA degree in English Language and Literature (Kyiv National Linguistic University, Ukraine), and an MA in American Studies and Mass Media (University of Lodz, Poland).   She is currently living in the Ukraine and manages European and Nordic language rights.     
Marcos Simas - Rights Director, Portuguese and Spanish Languages

Marcos Simas is a twenty-five-year veteran of the Brazilian publishing industry.  He has severed as both acquisition editor and managing editor for Christian and secular publishers (book and magazine).  He has recently worked as a rights and acquisition consultant.  Marco is also a frequent speaker on Christian publishing at Brazilian events and organization, including as professor in the MBA Book publishing course at Casa Educacao, as well as ECPA’s Publishing University.   Marcos holds several degrees including a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies, and Doctor of Philosophy Religion/Religious Studies.  Marcos will cover all Spanish and Portuguese rights management for Riggins Rights Management.
